I do believe it is about balance and sacrifice because it is not only about our survival it’s also about the people around us. Do we need fast-food chains and other useless things, probably not? However i think the object of work is about there has to be a natural balance of order otherwise we would inevitable create entropy. It would be wonderful if we lived in a utopia where everyone got along like hippies but we aren’t evolved to that point where we can barter like the people at burning man YET. So i think jobs and awakening are really about shifting your focus and intention.
For instance, ask yourself what do you work for? do you work for clothes, food, to pay the bills, to pay the mortgage, to support your family, to buy yourself a car, to buy gas to be able to drive, to give you shelter or are you using it for material commodities? This is all about choice and sacrifice. We have to honor ourselves within the work place some people are working to survive and some are working for material possessions and some people don’t want to work or can’t work. My position right now is a stay at home mom but also less than a year ago i was working to essentially pay for college and keep gas/food in my place. My fiance works full time 5 days a week to help support our family. If we don’t honor and respect our work even from an Ascension standpoint, we are not seeing the sacrifice we are giving towards ourselves. There are days when i hated working too and there were days where i loved working to hear stories from other customers and whatnot. It really comes down to is the thoughts and intentions you put towards having a job. Also finding a job you love and are passionate about also helps.
Maybe we don’t always see it because we get stuck in the cycle but it really is about balance and sacrifice, internally, externally, material and spiritual. Changing our thoughts of work, changes our view of how we see the world around us and how we manifest money into our lives. I grapple with this a lot as i might be going back to work soon to help my own family. However what it comes down to is our perception. Our perception truly is everything. You can either hate your job everyday or you can honor yourself and have gratitude towards it. Some people don’t even have jobs or they are struggling to find a decent job or some of them are homeless god forbid. It’s really about gratitude towards your roots, how you see your job, how you respect yourself and how you view the world around you. Money is not the root of all evil, it’s people’s perceptions of how they view money and how they treat it. It’s really as simple and as complicated as that.
hope this helps
