well balancing the chakras in general is no easy feat, it can take time, practice, mind discipline, changing our thoughts, etc. Balancing the Chakras is an art, one guided meditation isn’t just going to fix them on the spot. Healing the Chakras takes a lot of time, to heal any imbalance within our energy field we have to find the thought patterns that caused the blockage to begin with otherwise the blocked energy won’t release or let go. To start healing the chakras, it’s really best to go into the nature of the problem, that is truly the best way to heal through anything. You have to face the abyss to get to the other side. In your case this is anxiety. Meditation has a way of making us confront our demons instead of running from them. The true act of meditation itself is about letting go of what no longer serves us. I think what happened is you couldn’t let go of this energy during the meditation so instead you just kinda sat with it, cycling within your consciousness. When we fight to let go we’re brought into a resistance, this resistance can manifest as anxiety, regret, turmoil, anger, etc. When we fight the ego, the resistance builds and builds until it starts snowballing and eventually it causes blocked flow resulting in an imbalance. So you see meditation is merely one piece of the puzzle, the real trick is confronting yourself which isn’t always easy.
Anxiety is an important issue to touch on because many people awakening suffer from anxiety myself included. Although over time i have learned how to control it and ironically pot taught me how, it is an important aspect of ourselves that requires deep healing.
Anxiety is ruled by three chakras, the Root which is the sense of being ungrounded and full of fear, the third eye, our inner vision is off of balance from the present and the Solar plexus being the big one which is our direction of Will power or how we see ourselves controlled.
So whatever it is that caused the anxiety, you need to step outside of your self and face the bigger picture. Anxiety is illusion. It is something you created by the power of future thinking, our minds are moving faster than our bodies can catch up with them so in turn it creates a void space or what i like to call Blackhole thinking. Your anxiety is a product of your own cycling thoughts over and over again, you’re circling yourself like a hamster running on a wheel. This is what anxiety is and the only way to control it is by facing ourselves and seeing:
YOU ARE NOT YOUR THOUGHTS
That is it, in a nut shell that is the root of anxiety. It could be about anything but that is not the point. you create all these projections of illusion that cloud your minds into thinking all these horrible things but the reality of it is you are NOT GROUNDED IN THE PRESENT. When we’re not grounded in the present, our thoughts go in a whirlwind and BAM. what if this happens, what if that happens, what if what if…
That is why you step back out of the picture, come back to yourself, focus on coming back to yourself. Think of something that will distract you, anything, a hot guy, a flower, a color, count numbers, anything. It will bring you back to the present. When we lose focus, we cloud ourselves and in turn we aren’t present with ourselves. Thus these thought distractions cause us to lose ourselves within the present.
