I can’t sleep as much anymore. I tend to constantly wake up. I just want to know what could this be. I am also new to this Spiritual Awakening thing. I’m learning about it day by day, I want to find that place in my life and mind where I feel free and happy. Can you help? I want to learn as much as I can ..

It sounds like you are going through the classic symptoms of a spiritual Awakening. The lack of Sleep is because your body is going through so many different energy changes that you just feel full of energy.
Changing sleep patterns: restlessness, hot feet, waking up two or three times a night. Feeling tired after you wake up and sleepy off and on during the day. There is something called the Triad Sleep Pattern that occurs for many: you sleep for about 2-3 hours, wake up, go back to sleep for another couple of hours, wake again, and go back to sleep again. For others, the sleep requirements have changed. You can get by on less sleep. Lately I have been experiencing huge waves of energy running into my body from the crown. It feels good, but it keeps me awake for a long time, then subsides. Advice: Get used to it. Make peace with it and don’t worry about getting enough sleep (which often causes more insomnia). You will be able to make it through the day if you hold thoughts of getting just what you need. You can also request your Higher Power to give you a break now and then and give you a good, deep night’s sleep. If you can’t go back to sleep right away, use the waking moments to meditate, read poetry, write in your journal or look at the moon. Your body will adjust to the new pattern.

That might help what you’re going through, it is ultimately a process and all of us go through it at our own pace. You will find that place of happiness and peace the more you explore your inner mind and come to terms with realizing you are an infinite energy being made of light. Meditation helps but the best thing is to learn to observe your mind and thought patterns this will help you greatly in the future. A book i always recommend is Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, he expresses a lot of great methods on how to find inner stillness, observe your thoughts, find that happiness and peace within yourself. It’s a beautiful book if you have the time to read it. I would also work on learning more about the energy system, it not only helps us understand ourselves better but it puts you into a more peace of mind with what is happening to you. You can’t just drive the car, you have to practice and know the vehicle first 🙂
