disconnected in spiritual awakening? how to reconnect to your intuition and regulate your nervous system

When it comes to spiritual awakening or in general whenever we feel lost, broken, alone or uncertain. 9 times out of 10 we’re just disconnected.

Disconnection is rooted by our disconnection to ourselves, our intuition and our soul or higher self. this sensation of Disconnection can be felt by feeling fear, uncertainty, doubt, or any negative emotion that causes us to stop feeling like ourselves. That isn’t to say that negative emotion is bad but it is to say that – negative emotion is often an indicator of how we feel misaligned from our true self. It’s often a sign to heal, repair something or meet an emotional need.

When we feel disconnected, we’re usually dysregulated from our Nervous system and this puts our body in survival.

Over the years one thing that i’ve repeatedly learned is ALWAYS BE CONNECTED. When we feel disconnected this is often when our problems amp up, our emotions get the better of us and we lose sight of our intuition. When we choose to be connected, we strength our intuition which brings clarity and solutions. When we choose to be reconnected to our intuition, what we don’t realize is that we’ve not just regulated but we’re accessing our higher consciousness and higher faculties in our mind that allow us to connect within.

➡️ So how do you focus on Always being connected? Is it really possible, or are we veering into toxic positivity territory?

Connection is truly about learning to consistently plug in to your Source and strengthen your intuition.

The easiest way to do just that is to learn and form your own signature Mind-Body Spiritual practices.

We need a practice that both regulates our body and helps us establish connect to our higher self / intuition. This is the easiest way to consistently access higher consciousness and establish a firm connection to your intuition.

This means we need to learn Mind-body spiritual practices that help us regulate and reconnect to our intuition.

I want you to understand that meditation alone is only ONE type of practice you can do and it’s usually for calming your mind or connecting to higher consciousness. It is a great practice.

However, other spiritual practices can be just as effective to regulate and reconnect you back to your intuition. Let’s go over some of the more common ones that allow us to regulate consistently:

BODY RITUALS
Doing rituals that bring Radical body awareness & regulation

  • any deep physical activity that snaps you back in the body
  • yoga/ exercise/ cardio/pilates
  • somatic embodiment practices
  • dance
  • mindfulness body scans
  • Giving your body Mindful nourishment
  • house chores
  • Box Breathing 4 – 4- 4- 4
  • Butterfly Taps
  • Breathwork techniques that encourage regulation and DEEP breathing that tells the body it is safe through rhythm such as Breath of fire, Pranayama, Square breathing, etc
  • bilateral stimulation

MINDSET RITUALS:
Doing rituals that empower & guard the mind

  • mindset work via journaling or Asking yourself Empowered Questions that help your focus
  • reframing thought techniques
  • establishing boundaries
  • work on your personal beliefs
  • question negative resistance with pattern interruption.
  • focus on your desired feelings & how to meet them.
  • priming the mind
  • NLP, EFT, Reprogramming and Hypnosis


SPIRIT RITUALS:
Doing rituals that cultivate a relationship to higher self & strength your bond to intuition and higher consciousness.

  • meditation or guided meditation
  • ask spirit
  • Invocation/Spiritual prayer
  • visualization
  • oracle/tarot/crystals
  • automatic writing
  • journaling
  • active listening
  • Mantras & chanting
  • CHAKRA HEALING 😘

Practices that Help End Feeling Disconnected can be Unique to who you are

These are ALL unique ways you can focus more on regulating the body and establishing RECONNECTION. They are all powerful in their own ways. This is why i often say don’t box in your spiritual practice rather explore what your unique signature practice is that helps you identify:

  • Your Empath type or intuitive gifts
  • Strengths your intuition the strongest
  • Helps your reconnect to higher self
  • And most importantly,
  • Helps you regulate your body to feel safe and present again.

This is why you need to know how to do this so that you not just feel connected but you feel present, safe and you’re building a confident connection to your intuition.
